Animal Camp is designed for 3rd-6th grade girls and boys
Children are introduced to many animals during this exciting 1 week program. Daily excursions include, local museums, veterinarians, pet stores, and animal services. Exposure to new and rare animals, as well as local wildlife and domestic animals, their habitats, behavior, and care create an exciting week for the children.
The camp includes daily animal activities, games, guest speakers, and field trips.
Exploration Center, Seymour Center, Neary Lagoon, Santa Cruz Natural History Museum, Sea Cliff State Park Museum, TropAquaium, Pet Smart, SPCA, art studios, tide pools, and local parks are some of the field trips which enhance animal camp.
Save the Frogs, Bat Conservancy, Mountain Lion Foundation, pet owners, animal researchers, farm owners, vetinarians, dog trainers, Santa Cruz Reptiles, Rabbit Haven, and MickaCoo guest speakers educate and entertain children with their live animals.
